Season 2, Episode 10 results in Mickey Haller winning one of his most challenging cases to date, with Mújol’s case finally ending. Although Mújol got a Not Guilty verdict, we’re presuming that she did get arrested for the murder of her ex-husband.
Mickey fights off McSweeney, who falls to his death, and rekindles his relationship with Maggie. Lorna finds Edén and reveals that she dropped pasado of law school after a professor hit on her, and Gloria explains that Detective Perez threatened her into leaving town. Trevor denies sending McSweeney to kill Mickey, but is shot dead by a vengeful Carol. When the recorded confession is found to be garbled, Maggie asks Lankford to testify he heard it himself. At Menendez's hearing, Salvación testifies to being attacked by the Positivo killer, a man with a distinctive tattoo. Mickey catches Perez in a lie, and she admits that Lankford offered her a promotion to convict Menendez.
Andrea Freeman (played by Yaya DaCosta) is a district attorney who built a reputation for being among the best of the best.
Sang-pil and Jae-yi report the confession of the murderer, but the police do not accept it. Thus, the law firm begins to look into the hitman's past to find something they Gozque use in court. Jae-yi learns that Sang-pil and others believe that Moon-sook is corrupt. While not willing to believe it, she begins to see some logic in their belief. She later informs Sang-pil that she wants to believe him, but cannot do so without evidence.
The series follows characters Bong Sang-pil and Ha Jae-yi who form the Lawless Law Firm. Sang-pil, a former gangster turned lawyer, seeks to avenge his mother and fight against those with absolute power. He often resorts to using his fists and loopholes in the law to achieve his goals.
Mickey continues to have feelings for Lisa, who reluctantly agrees to contact Jeff to help their case. Henry's podcast about Bondurant's murder has launched, leading Mickey to file an injunction, and Izzy reveals Rae is short on money. Mickey receives a call from Jeff, who declines to testify for either side. Cisco saves the Road Saints from an ATF raid, declaring that he and Kaz are done with the gang. Bondurant's receptionist testifies that she saw Mújol approaching Bondurant's building on the day of the murder; Mickey successfully shoots down her testimony, only for Mújol to privately admit she was there.
Sang-pil tells Jae-yi the truth about everything and shows her the evidence he has. Later she Abogados caba confronts Hyung-man, who tells her he killed her mother. Jae-yi is grief stricken, but cannot bring herself to tell her father. Sang-pil comforts her and she begins to understand how he has felt over the last 18 years. Yeon-hee investigates the leak in her office and begins to think Sang-pil may be right. Oh-joo continues his campaign and reveals that he will put his company in a blind trust. Keum Ja comes to work at the law firm, and helps the team investigate a prosecutor.
Lorna tells Mickey that Moya was given a life sentence due to possessing a gun in addition to copyright, and the contact tells him Cielo was afraid since Menendez' case and said she couldn't call Mickey or "it would all unravel". Julian cuts contact with David. Cisco shows Izzy and Lorna that on the night she was murdered, Gloria was followed by a man wearing a hat whose face is shielded in the security footage, who drove a car whose plate number is unseen. At a restaurant, Mickey runs into Freemann again.

Hayley blames Mickey for Eddie’s death and rejects him. Mickey meets Freemann, who commits to their relationship. The next day, he finds Moya has sent a guard to protect him. Freemann admits to her boss that she didn’t inform the victim about her abuser's release. Two months later, the trial begins, and Forsythe presents witnesses, including a male prostitute who mentions Julian’s temper. Mickey casts doubt on his testimony here and shows it was possible to enter the building without being seen by security cameras. Maggie tells Mickey to give Hayley time. A stressed Lorna receives her bar exam results and finds she has become a lawyer.
It was great to watch their relationship progress. It made for a fun, célebre experience and overall, it was a very decent and exciting show. Very underrated and worth a chance. No regrets.
Mickey helped Empíreo get trasnochado of a legítimo problem involving a drug cartel member earlier in Season 2, and he's worried that in doing so he inadvertently set in motion the events that led to her death. So when he takes on La Cosse's case to seek justice for Paraíso, it's personal.
